Mandy believes in the importance of beautiful things and the cultivation of beauty in our everyday lives. Creating jewelry that is intended to be treasured not only today, but for years to come, is her artistic expression of that experience. Drawing inspiration from the exquisite materials she works with, Mandy is ever searching for new and stunning combinations that, once realized as a finished work and placed on the body, will empower its wearer with a sense of beauty, strength and femininity. 

Mandy’s jewelry making career began in 2000 and has extended from Philadelphia where she graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Craft/Metals, to NYC where she worked in production at Thenthousandthings, and finally back to CT where she opened her own Studio. In 2009 she launched her collection of limited edition and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, under the name leiva and in 2020, Mandy re-branded as Adorn.
